Our new Oct – Mar season

Are you ready for more great theatre, art and film? Brace yourselves for a fantastic new season of exciting commissions, productions, collaborations and site-specific work.

We have three major exhibitions that weave not just through the galleries but through our film programme too. We have artists and filmmakers who take the sci-fi genre and make it relevant to a sophisticated, science and technology-literate society. Our film seasons shine a light on the pioneers of British TV and film, and ask why we don’t see more Chinese-language films in the UK. Our theatre premieres bring some of the world’s best companies, directors, playwrights and producers to Manchester, in works that range from fresh re-imaginings of classic plays to unique performances in iconic spaces across the city. We provide families a taste of just how much there is to inspire and entertain children. And with our tickets priced from just £5, we also make sure local communities and young people can get stuck in too.
