About Zara Manoehoetoe
Zara Manoehoetoe is a youth worker with over 12 years experience, based in Manchester currently working for youth project Kids of Colour CIC. Her life journey so far, and professional work, led Zara into grassroots, antiracist, abolitionist community organising. She is also a steering group member of Northern Police Monitoring Project. Frustrations of the systems that govern our lives and surround her youthwork, led Zara to undertake a degree in Social Policy as a mature student alongside her work. She is passionate and dedicated to working with community to create spaces which enable knowledge sharing, connection, active solidarity and collective power building to bring about radical change and systems of care which allow communities to thrive rather than survive.
