HOME Artist Film Weekender 2018

Welcome to HOME’s fourth annual celebration of the wild, inventive world of artist film. From outrageous comedy shorts and garish wonderlands to social observation, HOME Artist Film Weekender 2018 explores imaginative approaches to the moving image.

Our opening night is hosted at Paradise Works artist studios and features an array of short films, live performances, sound installations and complimentary soup!

Screenings at HOME include a programme of films about the ambivalent relationship between humans, animals and borders; Rachel Maclean’s subversive, feminist sci-fi and debut feature, Make Me Up; a focus upon local artist Nick Jordan, the Jarman Awards 2018, theatrical eccentricity from Pauline Curnier Jardin, and the eye-watering adventures of Cousin Wonderlette (filmmaker Brian Benson).
