We are delighted to announce HOME and Film4 present FilmFear returning to HOME for Halloween with a weekend of compellingly creepy films, reminding us that fear and fascination are best shared in the cinematic dark. Over four nights, we’ll celebrate the best in horror, dark fantasy and sinister mysteries, combining previews of forthcoming frights with essential cult classics.
Taking our lead from opening-night film, SCALA!!! – a documentary taking you inside the notorious London cinema thirty years after it closed – FilmFear presents an eclectic and adventurous programme with something to unsettle everyone…
As in previous years, FilmFear will also be supported on Film4 channel and the Channel 4 streaming service.
FilmFear is curated by David Cox, Channel Editor of Film4, and Rachel Hayward, HOME’s Head of Film Strategy.
