Maite Sánchez decides to make a life change for her and her family and leaves the city behind to begin a life in the mountains, where survival and self-sufficiency prevail. She becomes the rancher of the last breed of wild cow, the Betizú, a variety that is facing extinction. This breed is raised in the wild in the mountains of Goizueta, in the Basque Country, where Maite and her family live and share their wilderness lifestyle.
Born in Valencia, with a background in Audiovisual Communication and the world of advertising, Salvaje is Raúl González’s first involvement in documentary short film.
