Directed by Nurit Kedar and Eran Riklis, Israeli documentary BORDERS reveals stories of the families torn apart, people brought together and profits struck across the borders between Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, and Lebanon.NAZARETH 2000 sees director Hany Abu-Assad return from the Netherlands to his native town just months before the millennium. There, two petrol station attendants comment on the tensions and absurdities of a holy city with a 72% Muslim population that is largely controlled by its Christian minority.
