Roshana Rubin-Mayhew has been loading film into her camera for the past decade. Film Start Time is a collection of the images created at the start of these rolls of film. They are the first instances of light seeping onto the unexposed negative, burning up the celluloid. Some glimpse at moments never fully captured, others are abstract plays of light and colour. At a time when film is being replaced in the digital revolution, this exhibition celebrates the surprisingly individual aesthetic of film.
