Daksha Patel will display a new series of drawings, produced alongside the Asian Triennial and a commission at Piccadilly train station. Her work looks at the ways in which people construct cities and are in turn affected by the cities they inhabit. By mapping recorded urban activity onto biological structures, she connects discreet areas of scientific enquiry and data visualisation. Working from her studio at Suite Studios, Salford, her practice is informed by rigorous research and enquiry.
A Cornerhouse Micro Commission, supported by Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
