Urban, Natural, Human

Urban, Natural, Human is a touring programme of films, taking as its key theme the built and natural environments in contemporary Japan. Featuring archival works, documentary and artists’ moving image, many not seen in the UK before, the season explores post-war regeneration, reconstruction and renewal; rural life and development; as well as the urban experience, the future of cities and our place in an ever-changing world.

This is a Day for Night project, conceived and curated by Sonali Joshi.
