Born in Argentina, Daniela Féjerman studied Psychology before becoming a playwright and television screenwriter. She first turned her hand to film scriptwriting with Patricia Ferreira’s award-winning debut Sé quién eres (2000), and she has since written and directed four features: A mi madre le gustan las mujeres (2002), Semen, una historia de amor (2005), 7 minutos (2009) and now L’adopció, which has been nominated for four Gaudí awards by the Catalan Film Academy. We are delighted to welcome Daniela back to Manchester after her last ¡Viva! visit in 2002.
