The work of Jacques Lecoq and his school in Paris is one of the corner stones of modern theatre practice and the school’s unique approach is at the heart of all Square Peg Theatre Company’s work.
This workshop will primarily focus on exploring how the body communicates without words, developing a better connection to our physicality and a greater sensitivity to movement and gesture. Participants will leave the workshop with a better awareness of their body in performance and the space around them, a greater sensitivity to their fellow performers, and practical exercises for further study.
