French GCSE Study Morning: Les Vacances du Petit Nicolas

This study morning aims to ignite students’ interest in watching French films.

Isabelle Vanderschelden will introduce the film mainly in English. Students will be provided with contextual information, key French phrases and relevant vocabulary on French cinema and film plot, all of which will help students to watch the film in French with subtitles.

The screening will be followed by a few French language exercises around the characters of the film the character and the themes of childhood, family, friendship and holidays.

Led by Isabelle Vanderschelden, Head of French at Manchester Metropolitan University.
