Students will be introduced to contemporary Arabic cinema through a screening of Speed Sisters.
Salwa Mohamed will introduce the film, provide contextual information and key words. The film will help learners to explore a range of topics related to Arabic language and culture. The day will nurture a positive attitude towards learning Arabic.
This will be followed by a series of Arabic GCSE and A level language exercises based on the film’s main characters, events and themes. Study session activities will be in Arabic.
