Our Granada Foundation Galleries can be found on the first and second floor, merging with social space and adjacent to our busy restaurant and cinemas. Level one features an impressive triple-height giant wall that has hosted busy salon-hangs, more formal grid display and large-scale murals.
Level two faces our Cinema Bar and Roof Terrace, which combined feature approximately 6-8 exhibitions per year. Our focus in these spaces is HOME Projects, an arm of the visual art programme that prioritises North West artists, affordable art and emerging curators. Much of the work is often for sale, including limited edition prints via our Bookshop and Box Office, encouraging personal patronage of regional creative talent, with many works less than £100. We also prioritise photography, graphic arts, illustration and design, these being fields that lack presentation opportunities within the region, in addition to intentionally blurring the distinction between gallery, cinema and theatre spaces.
