Resident Alien

The Bush Theatre

Quentin crisp didn’t see Resident Alien. He wrote in the Evening Standard that “it would be too embarrassing.” He would have recognised the set though. Filthy and cramped, with a single egg in the fridge and visitors expected, it is based on his infamous New York bedsit and provides the perfect setting for the last great “stately homo of England” to share his irreverent opinions on life, sex and Princess Diana.
