Mohammed is a writer of plays, poetry, and short stories. He was shortlisted for the Box of Tricks Screen/Play Award (2020) and his short story Rose and Lemongrass Tea published in the international contemporary writing journal, Wasafiri (2021). His interests range from sexuality, religion, politics, and classical music with a strong emphasis on telling true stories. Originally from the small town of Batley, he is now based in Manchester, a fact his Yorkshire family prefer to ignore.
