HOME and Manchester Histories presents

Peterloo Soapbox

Part of Peterloo 2019 Anniversary Weekend

Join HOME on the First Street courtyard for the Peterloo Soapbox , part of the Manchester Histories Peterloo Anniversary Weekender, commemorating 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre.

We’ve invited creatives from all over Greater Manchester to take to the mic and say their piece, responding to the themes of Protest, Democracy and Freedom of Speech.

The event will run alongside our Peterloo Picnic, where we’re inviting the public from 12:00 to the First Street green for garden games and spoken word. Don’t miss it!
