Soho Theatre & Tim Whitehead Management presents

Peaches Christ’s Drag Becomes Her

Peaches Christ, Jinkx Monsoon, BenDeLaCreme and Major Scales star in a drag parody of the ghoulishly entertaining A-list campfest ‘Death Becomes Her.’

Witness the deliciously dark showbiz satire, with the queens in the roles they were born to play: undead Beverly Hills rivals Madeleine Ashton and Helen Sharp, originally made famous by Oscar-winning leading ladies Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep. The world’s “oldest young drag queens” hit Manchester to defy natural law before your very eyes.

★★★★ “Sometimes the obvious jokes are the best ones. So it is with the titular pun of Drag Becomes Her, a drag spoof of the cult 90s film Death Becomes Her… you can tell the performers genuinely enjoy being in this show, and that joy soon becomes infectious… By the end of the show, the audience are on their feet and the affection between those on and off stage is tangible.” – Upstaged Manchester

“The cast often found themselves corpsing, relevant, as well as adlibbing, required… But that brought the biggest laughs; audiences love off the cuff and drag is known for being reactive.” – Culturebean

“An incredibly entertaining show, with plenty of laughs to be had from the brilliant physical comedy, hilarious missed cues, and inventive ad-libbing… Funny, entertaining, provides a great night out… The show is a blast!” The Play’s The Thing

“Gag after gag, Drag Becomes Her is exhausting in its hysteria… Each cast member holds the stage so expertly and with such ease the audience is treated to a real feast for the senses… It’s another resounding success for Peaches Christ who seems to have found a winning formula that – just like her – never gets old” – Touchpaper

“The cast and crew behind this production know their target audience and target them with abundant precision.” – Harpy magazine
