Mrs Noah and the Flood

Sitting at home, Martha dreams of a great flood that destroys the world. Outside her house the rain comes, showers become downpours, puddles become lakes. She realises her dream was a premonition and leads her husband, her twelve year old daughter and her six year old son to the safety of a boat.
Stranded at sea for forty days and forty nights, the family finally finds land – a deserted island. Here they begin again, creating their own way of life, their own society. But then other survivors of the flood appear and the family must decide whether to defend their new life or share it with others
