LOVE+ is about loving, being loved, being human, and whether these things are intertwined.
It explores what happens to romance when there’s a machine who can do everything for you; cook for you, clean for you, never forget your birthday or how you like your tea, tell you you’re beautiful, hold you when you’re crying and still make you cum. It’s not about whether or not we can love machines, because we all already do. It’s about what it’ll be like when they love us back.
The award-winning debut production from Malaprop, LOVE+ showcases the beginnings of the company’s signature style and idiosyncratic sense of humour in a present which is both future history and erstwhile sci-fi.
