How’s The World Treating You?

Resident Repertory Company

Roger Milner’s hilerious and intelligent farce traces the career of Frank More whom we first meet arriving at a transit camp in 1946, without his draft and without his trousers. His ambition had always been to become headmaster of eton or failing that he would make do with Winchester or Rugby. Alas, he is talked into becoming a washing machine salesperson and is finally driven in the rat race world to Scace’s Suicide Sanctuary, a very odd place indeed where the inmates chat non-stop-“when we first got married we had a little flat in leicester; we didn’t want to live in the centre of london”- where the wife is called Rover and the dog Maureen is invisable. ‘How’s the World…’ is a wonderfully funny play and provides its audience with an ideal night out at the contemporary theatre!
