In an increasingly hostile world, Hatch Home looks to connect to humanity using poetry and theatre. Poets from Young Identity will reflect on the comic, the tragic and everything in between – visual arts, psychology, the news, science, sex and alienation; this show is a microcosm of the human experience.
Encapsulating the spirit and essence of Manchester, with metaphor and rhythmic performance, Hatch Home brings the city’s finest and most fierce poets to centre stage.
★★★★★ “A refreshing ensemble performance… A highly charged, emotionally intelligent offering that simply made me want to rewind and experience it all again.” – North West End
“An immersive piece of theatre with clever links between each piece to showcase the poetry and words that really make the audience think… An incredibly thought-provoking piece of performance.” – The Northern Quota
“The poems were stitched together seamlessly… The most memorable thing about Hatch Home was the passion with which every performer spoke their lines, and the wealth of talent which was so evident in their poetry.” – Mancunion
