Ugly Bucket presents

Bost-Uni Plues

Everyone says university is the best three years of your life! So what happens next?

Based on the true experiences told by graduates, join three clowns as they leave the comfort of student life behind and enter the real world. A world full of expectation, proper jobs, and council tax.

Bost-Uni Plues is an explosion of energy, honesty, dance, physical theatre, techno, and plain silliness that explores post-graduate life through the good, the bad and the ugly. Because when you’re told that the best three years of your life are behind you, what else is left other than post-uni blues?

“An effervescent, knockabout exploration of the highs and lows of being at university and what happens after you finally graduate… Genuinely loads of fun.” – Circles & Stalls

★★★★ “The true achievement of Ugly Bucket in creating this show is the feeling of comfort that is to be gained knowing that so many other people have felt the exact same way that you do, and that it is possible to come out laughing.” – Upstaged Manchester

“Grace Gallagher, Canice Ward, and Angelina Cliff burst with energy as they bound across the stage, strutting their dance moves, partying, and munching on drugs, throwing them into the audience. Not to worry… they are only Skittles.” – The Play’s The Thing

“Ugly Bucket Theatre [are] a force to be reckoned with and they’re only just getting started… A wonderful coming-of-age masterpiece.” – Reviewer Number 9

“An important piece of theatre which addressed a niche which is hardly spoken about… Ugly Bucket’s use of verbatim was comic, cathartic and healing; it opened up a wider dialogue… Downright hilarious.” – Mancunion

★★★★ “The unfaltering energy and enthusiasm displayed by these performers was incredible.” – The Spy In The Stalls

Bost-Uni Plues is the winner of The Best Production and Best Director Liverpool Fringe 2018, and the winner of the Stephen Jeffereys award and The Holbeck Cup NSDF 2019
