Alexander Geist combines the dry wit of Morrissey with the soundscape of Moroder and the sensibilities of Manet. Magnetic, lush, with melodramatic lyrics and insistent melodies, Geist created the genre he calls “morose disco-soul”. For this exclusive performance he combines classic-synth pop with fan adulation, projection and live performance, stepping into the empty shoes vacated by gender-fluid pop stars of the late 20th century.
