Mark Pollard directs this dark, moving and funny drama by the 2005 Willy Russell Award-Winning playwright Matthew Landers, who also stars, alongside Graham Elwell. A Dog Called Redemption follows the developing relationship of two very different vagrants who embark on a journey that brings them closer than either thought possible, offering them hope beyond the pavement.
But can it last? A hit at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival, A Dog Called Redemption won the Best New Play award in the 2008 Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. Matthew Landers was also nominated for Best Fringe Performance.
