Rikki Henry

Rikki Henry began directing while studying at the Brit School for Performing Arts, London, and the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. In 2008, he joined the Young Vic’s Introduction to Directing course, which enabled him to work on many exciting projects, learn invaluable skills and work with directors including Peter Brook and Rufus Norris.

The majority of Rikki’s own work, including directing The Maids by Jean Genet and From Dover to Calais by Laura Neal, has been developed while working at the Young Vic, where he has received great support from Artistic Director David Lan and Associate Artistic Director Sue Emmas. His recent directing project, Venus/Mars by Patrice Etienne, played at the Old Red Lion Theatre, London, before transferring to The Bush Theatre for Radar Festival in 2013. At HOME, Rikki will work closely with the creative team on the productions taking place in 2015/16.
