Rachel Yu (she/they) is a freelance theatremaker and writer born and raised in Hong Kong. They attained their MA in Text and Performance at Birkbeck, University of London and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her most recent play, Pacifier, was performed at Theatre 503’s Rapid Write Response, featuring an all-immigrant and people of colour cast. Before moving to London, she worked at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority’s Theatre team. Outside of the arts, they love practicing yoga and learning new languages.
