Wed 9 Jul 25 6 – 8pm (Open Studio)
Wed 8 Oct 25 6-8pm (Workshop)
What will the programme cover?
Workshop sessions are led by HOME staff and supported by invited visiting artists from HOME’s programme. As much as possible, we aim to invite all of HOME’s exhibiting visual artists to provide a workshop for the Young Artists. All materials are provided by HOME, and Young People will be told in advance if they need to wear old clothes.
Open Studio sessions are led by HOME staff and enable Young People to use our studio space and materials to work on their own project ideas and artworks in a supervised studio environment supported by HOME workshop support staff. Young People will be provided with a small bursary at the start of the year to purchase bespoke materials and will manage this as their own budget. Young people may wish to wear old clothes for these sessions as paint is often used and bring extra materials of their own.
Is the programme free?
Yes. All of the sessions are free and all participants will receive a small bursary to spend on art materials to contribute to their artwork that is exhibited at HOME.
We have a limited number of bursaries available to support with travel, once you have been offered a place, you can request the bursary for support with travel costs.
