16 – 25 year old? Interested in breaking into film? Then join our third DIY film challenge, where our panel of industry professionals challenge you to make a short film on your phone (under 3 mins) and be in with a chance to win some development prizes.
Our third DIY film challenge is all about GOOD VIBES! Show us the love, make us feel all mushy inside and share something you love. It could be anything from a building, a person or a pet.. we don’t care as long as it’s full of love and shares those feel good vibes.
Genre is up to you. Go for it. Comedy, Rom Com, Documentary, Drama, Romantic Horror! Romantic Political Satire? Surprise us with what love means to YOU! Or just make it up as you go along…
Entries can be anywhere from 60 seconds to 3 mins.
Entries will be reviewed by BFI Network, a guest producer and a young programmer.
The winner will be announced at our online Meet Up, where you will get to watch some of the shortlisted films and get some top tips from our industry pals.
The winner will receive a £200 development bursary and 1-2-1 with a BFI Network exec and Film 4 and their work will be shown at a special cinema screening at HOME in Manchester and online
