Are you a theatre director or creative interested in moving into television directing? Not sure where to start?
Join directors working on Waterloo Road for an afternoon on the set of the hit show, where they will talk you through the basics of directing for TV and give you an insight into the skills and processes involved in directing for TV.
This session will be a mixture of presentations and practical exercises.
In this session you will learn about:
- working with technical teams,
- understanding the shooting schedule
- working with the cast on set
- understanding the scripting process.
Relevant to people with a track record of creating live theatre work who are interested in applying their knowledge to the screen sector.
Open to people over 18 who currently live in the North West. The North West consists of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside.
The workshop will take place on Thu 30 Jan, 14:00-18:00, near Manchester City Centre.
