Course Dates: Wednesday 30th August to Friday 1st September (10am to 5pm)
This August Gecko will run in association with HOME a three day professional development intensive for artists and theatre makers from the Greater Manchester area ahead of their performances of The Wedding in September.
The intensive will be delivered by two of Gecko’s experienced devising performers, and will give participants an opportunity to gain an insight into Gecko’s devising techniques and style of physical theatre.
Applicants should have a minimum of two years professional experience as a performer, director or choreographer, must be aged 18 or over and be resident in the Greater Manchester area.
The cost of the intensive is £60. To apply for your place, please email jennie.mccusker@homemcr.org by 5pm on Friday 14 July with a short statement of why you would like to take part and a copy of your most recent CV. Successful applicants will be contacted by Friday 28th July and further information will be sent out ahead of the course.
There are bursary places available. To apply for a bursary, please write a short statement explaining the impact a place on the intensive would have on you, and the contribution it would make to your professional development. Please note the bursary covers the fee only and the successful applicant will still be responsible for covering their travel expenses within Greater Manchester (if applicable).
