What’s on > What’s on in November

This month sees our theatre spaces taken over by the weird, mysterious and downright entertaining. Forced Entertainment return with Out of Order, Company Chameleon bring their latest dance show The Shadow; Bryony Kimmings’ acclaimed I’m A Phoenix, Bitch arrives; and Chanje Kunda explores love and foliage in Plant Fetish.

In our cinemas, we look back at the work of the late Yasmin Ahmad; the Korean Film Festival celebrates a century of Korean Cinema; and we take a step Beyond the Berlin Wall. There’s also a whole host of returning film seasons to look forward to, including the much-loved Manchester Animation Festival; Queer Media Festival; and HOME’s Artist Film Weekender.

In our main gallery, Sheffield Doc/Fest bring highlights of their Alternate Realities exhibition, where you can step into multiple worlds and experiences through the use of augmented and virtual reality technology.
