Vivre me tue

Directed by Jean-Pierre Sinapi

An uncompromising and deeply moving story of two brothers inexorably caught up in violence. Paul and Daniel are sons of a ‘model’ middle-class Moroccan immigrant family, both born in France. Paul has a Masters but can’t find work beyond pizza delivery. Daniel fares no better, devoting his energy to body-building. ***This screening will be introduced by Isabelle Vanderschelden, lecturer in French Cinema at MMU and regular Cornerhouse contributor***
