Pauls (NINE QUEENS) stars in this gentle, charming tale of an unlikely friendship that develops when a city architect is dispatched to the Andean village of Purmamarca in the remote northern Jujuy province of Argentina. Carlos (Pauls) has been charged with building a new project, but needs some help with local matters. Enter Estela (local resident Vilte), a precocious 13-year-old girl. In learning about each other’s worlds, the pair soon develop an easy bond which blossoms into Estela’s first crush. The forthright Vilte steals the film – along with the stunning village setting.
