Winner of the ‘Teddy Bear’ prize for the Best Gay Film at last year’s Berlin Film Festival, UN AÑO is an ‘uncompromising, densely textured portrayal of one man dealing with loneliness and AIDS’ (Berlin jury). Pablo is a writer living with an addled aunt and seeking a way to keep illness at bay. He’s also seeking love, through adverts and visits to gay bars. Then he finds himself involved in the secretive world of Buenos Aires leather clubs and the men who frequent them – especially one in particular.
UN AÑO SIN AMOR will be released in the UK this Spring.
