After another great night of partying, Juan witnesses his best friend falling from a building only to smash into ceramic fragments on the street below. Outraged and determined to investigate in the face of apparent indifference, Juan turns absurdist detective and reveals some uncomfortable truths, but also finds a new sense of self.
The fourth film from Spanish duo Fernando Martínez and Juan González is a fantastically surreal comedy with a unique and bizarre aesthetic across the sets, characters and plot; ultimately it’s about human relationships and growing up, via a few pianos falling from the sky and a conspiracy theory involving incredibly lifelike, ceramic humanoids... if that sounds confusing, our advice is to just roll with it!
