Three Brothers

Directed by Serik Aprymov

Three young brothers live in a village in the steppes of Kazakhstan. They spend time hanging around a run-down railway station run by Klein, an elderly concentration camp survivor. Responding to their questions, he tells the brothers about a beautiful lake beyond the mountains where he drives the officers from the military airbase. Fascinated by Klein’s tales, the boys are determined to visit.
