Former Manchester United star Eric Cantona returns to the silver screen with a supporting role in this nostalgic period drama set in provincial France. Garris (Gamblin of LÉ DÎNER DE CONS) and Riton (Villeret) live in a marshland near a small town, surviving on odd jobs. Garris supports his friend when his heavy drinking results in a threat against his life by a combative boxer (Cantona). CHILDREN reveals a close community of men living in the shadows of the two wars that decimated their numbers.
