Summer 1978. An English couple (Ledoyen and Considine) decide to spend the summer in the house that their friend Paul and his wife Isabel (Oldman and Sánchez-Gijón) have bought in the picturesque Basque countryside. The secluded spot seems ideal for a peaceful holiday. However, on a hunting trip the two Englishmen make a disturbing discovery in a secluded forest cabin, unleashing a vortex of violence that recalls the likes of STRAW DOGS and DELIVERANCE. There is no denying the high impact of this directorial début from the young Basque director.
