Driven by a moving performance from veteran actor Lin Yang, Super Citizen Ko is an intense film that reflects upon the impact of martial law in Taiwan and what was known as the ‘White Terror’. Ko, imprisoned as a leftist, through his memories of his friend Chen and events in his life, tries to make sense of the present, without being able to forget the past. In doing so, his character explores the political history of Taiwan over a 50-year period.
