Sud Express

Directed by Gabriel Velázquez & Chema de la Peña

The Sud Express train runs from Paris to Lisbon, carrying passengers in search of love, work or the promised land. Six interlinked stories reveal the hopes and fears of people whose lives are touched by the train – be they passengers or residents whose towns it passes through. And so it reveals a snapshot of this part of contemporary Western Europe at the start of a new century.

We are pleased to welcome director Gabriel Velázquez.
