The fantastic Radhika Apte is Uma, a young woman who comes to Mumbai only to find herself joylessly confined in an arranged marriage. Determined not to lose heart Uma begins to explore the city alone, her nocturnal wanderings bringing her face-to-face with a new and unexpected side of herself.
Debut director Kandhari teases out a punkish, horror-tinged spirit as the story gradually bares its fangs, deriving a distinctive look and feel from striking compositions and playful, playlist-ready music cues.
