Executive produced by Mark Rylance, Sink concerns Micky Mason, a skilled manual worker who, since the financial crisis, can find nothing but menial, zero-hours jobs. He takes a course of action that is completely out of character, but it’s the only solution he sees to keep his family together. Warm tender and funny, though set against a backdrop of anguish and despair, this is a potent film about survival.
