Silent Land

Directed by Aga Woszczyńska

Bourgeois couple Adam and Anna rent a holiday home on a sunny Italian island in Woszczynska’s exceptional character study. A faulty pool mars their trip, and ignorant of the fact that the island faces a water shortage, they insist someone to fix it.

The constant presence of a stranger invades the couple’s idea of safety and starts a chain of events, which makes them act instinctively and irrationally, leading to the darkest time in their relationship.
