Produced by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead), Sightseers is an endlessly enjoyable film for viewers with a wicked sense of humour and cements Ben Wheatley’s growing reputation as a talent to watch. This pitch black comedy follows loved-up couple, Chris and Tina, as they set off on their first holiday together. Tina is desperate to escape her sheltered life with her meddling mother, and Chris can’t wait to share the delights of a caravanning holiday. But it doesn’t take long for the eccentric couple’s romantic bubble to burst, and litterbugs and irritating caravan neighbours meet a sticky end when the trip turns nasty.
