The high-profile case of serial killer Ludovic Chevalier has just gone to trial, and Kelly-Anne is obsessed, heading to the courthouse every morning to secure a seat.
As days go by, the young woman bonds with another groupie, which momentarily breaks her out of her loneliness.
As the proceedings drag on and she spends more time in the courtroom with the victims’ families, Kelly-Anne finds it increasingly difficult to maintain her psychological balance with her morbid fixation with the killer.
When reality blurs with her morbid fantasies, Kelly-Anne goes down a dark path to seek the final piece of the trial’s puzzle: the missing video of a murdered 13-year-old girl, to whom she bears a disturbing resemblance.
