Adam works nightshifts at a motorway service station and lives a small and lonely life. Upon hearing that his estranged father has died, he finds himself in search of answers. Piecing together a complicated image of a man he never knew, Adam starts to wonder if his father’s strange claims of being “sent here from somewhere else” might just be true.
Moin Hussain’s debut feature is an unconventional, sci-fi inflected drama that sensitively explores what it means to feel alienated in modern Britian – it more ways that you might expect.
