Not a Charlie Kaufman retrospective, but a showcase of specially commissioned short films exploring the kinship between verse and video; featuring the poetry of Jean Sprackland, Michael Symmons Roberts, Joolz Denby, Ed Barton, Helen Clare, Gaia Holmes and others. With films by Wilfred Darlington, Gwendolen Osmond, Sharon Keighley, Esther Lisk-Carew, Christine Flannery, Kate Jessop, Rory Couper, Debbie Steer, and others. The screening will be interspersed with readings by Gaia Holmes and Helen Clare.
A special overexposed event in association with Comma Film and the Manchester Literature Festival.
