A homicide detective’s (Clarkson) investigation into the shooting of a leading astrophysicist and black-hole expert destabilises her view of the universe and herself, in Carol Morley’s (The Falling) fascinating adaptation of Martin Amis’ Night Train. Originally a project to be directed by Nicolas Roeg, the film has something of his sensibility and its very own Clint Mansell score.
Out of the Blue screens on general release from Fri 29 Mar.
Short film screening alongside this feature film: Portrait of Painter
A creatively blocked artist discovers her most recent painting has a darker nature then she expected.
On Thu 14 March at 18:00 we will have a special preview screening followed by a Q&A with director Carol Morley.
