Shy Norberto seems an unlikely candidate for reinventing his life, but when he starts acting classes to improve his assertiveness in a new field of work, everything changes. The film draws quiet comedy from Norberto’s tendency to muddle through life in an amusingly ineffective manner, much to his wife’s frustration.
The screening on Mon 21 March will be introduced by James Scorer, Lecturer in Latin American Cultural Studies at The University of Manchester.
